BOOSTERS
Purpose
The purpose of the DHS Band Booster Organization is to provide support for all activities and programs of the DHS Band Organization and to assist the band director(s) in stimulating and promoting a quality marching, concert, symphonic, and jazz band program.
About the Band Boosters Organization
The booster organization provides critical volunteer service and supplemental financial
support for all of the DHS band programs
Examples of booster financial support include:

Instruments for loan to students
•
Repair and maintenance of band-owned instruments
•
Auxillary equipment
•
Music purchases
•
Competiton entrance fees
•
Concession stand food, equipment, and supplies
•
Travel and equipment transportation expenses
Examples of booster volunteer support include:
•
Uniform fitting and coordination of cleaning and maintenance
•
Chaperones
•
Fundraising activities
•
Setup and movement of equipment for performances
